|| WWW Wednesday || 30th June 2021 || What are you reading this week? ||

Hi there bookworms and welcome to another WWW Wednesday post!

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

For those who don’t know, the three W’s are:

  • What are you currently reading?

  • What did you finish reading recently?

  • What do you think you’ll read next?

If you enjoy what I am doing with my blog then you can support me by shopping on Amazon via my affiliate links. This will come at no extra cost to you and will result in me being paid a small commission. This is always appreciated but never expected. You can view my Amazon Influencer page **HERE** to browse all the books that I recommend. You can also see up to date Amazon book deals on my sidebar or alternatively if you want to you can buy me a coffee!

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince by J.K. Rowling; 84%

A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire by Jennifer L. Armentrout; Okay, I admit I have hardly touched this in the last few weeks with so many tour books to finish and buddy reads going on. I am definitely going to prioritise this going into July as I have really enjoyed what I have read so far and I am about 350 pages in.

Witches Steeped in Gold by Ciannon Smart ; I still can’t make up my mind what I think of this one. It definitely has potential to be really interesting but I am really struggling to understand a lot of what is going on. There are a lot of words I don’t know that get no explanation and the sentences are just so long that I find it really hard to absorb what I am reading.

This is my Truth by Yasmin Rahman; I have literally just picked this up this morning so no comment so far. The blurb sounds super interesting though!

Equal Rites by Terry Pratchett; I just finished this and I am so glad to finally be able to say that I liked it! The first two Discworld books were a bit of a let down to say the least but Equal Rites felt much stronger as a novel. It was less disjointed and random and had much more likable characters! Full review to come!

The Invisible Tightrope by Robert Haywood; I really didn’t like this one and almost DNF’d quite a few times but ended up skimming the last third. It sounded interesting but ended up not being my cup of tea sadly!

Blood Like Magic by Liselle Sambury; This book was absolutely fantastic! I loved the story, the characters, the diversity and representation. It was brilliant! My tour date for this is Friday 2nd July so look out for my full review then!

Six Crimson Cranes by Elizabeth Lim; I only finished this last night and without a doubt one of the most enjoyable books I’ve read this month. Shiori is a total badass princess and the story is exciting and had my completely gripped from start to finish! Mt tour date for this is Monday 5th July so ill be sharing a full review then!

The Crown of Gilded Bones by Jennifer L. Armentrout; As I said earlier I am looking to finish this series as a priority in July so I don’t plan on picking up anything else until I have read this one! (Yeah, I know… we’ll see haha!)

I hope you’ve enjoyed reading another WWW Wednesday post. Feel free to drop a comment or a like and let me know if you’ve read any of these books, share your thoughts!
