Good Morning book lovers! I’ve never taken part in this meme before but as I have a blog tour post scheduled for Wednesday I decided that since I had diddly squat to post today and that I won’t be posting my usual WWW post later in the week that I might as well share my current, recent and next reads here! I am nothing if not adaptable right?

It’s Monday! What are you Reading is hosted by Kathryn from Book Date, this is a weekly event to share what we’ve read in the past week and what we hope to read, plus whatever else comes to mind.

If you enjoy what I am doing with my blog then you can support me by shopping on Amazon via my affiliate links. This will come at no extra cost to you and will result in me being paid a small commission. This is always appreciated but never expected. You can view my Amazon Influencer page **HERE** to browse all the books that I recommend. You can also see up to date Amazon book deals on my sidebar or alternatively if you want to you can buy me a coffee!

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince by J.K. Rowling; 38%

A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire by Jennifer L. Armentrout; I wish that I had time to read this more but I am so overcommitted on blog tours at the moment that this one is sort of taking a back seat right now. I am reading a couple of chapters each day but it’s slow progress really. I am hoping to have more time for it after this week when I have cleared a bit of my backlog.

The Maidens by Alex Michaelides; I started reading this yesterday afternoon and have already read 200 pages. I absolutely love Alex’s style and I am finding this book very intriguing! I am hoping to finish  the book after work this evening.

Equal Rites by Terry Pratchett; Month three brings with it book three of the Discworld series! Myself and Lynn are both very hopeful that this might be where the series starts to pick up or us both.

Witches Steeped in Gold by Ciannon Smart; I am group reading this along with TWR gang and I am so excited to get started. Our first discussion is on Thursday and I haven’t even started yet so I had better get a wriggle on I suppose!

Glass Coffin by Gabby Hutchinson Crouch; This was a breath of fresh air for me and made me laugh so much! You can read my full review of this twisted fairy tale here!

Lost in the Never Woods by ~Aiden Thomas; I liked this, it was good but not great. It wasn’t everything that I had hoped it would be but it was still an interesting spin on Peter Pan and Wendy. I am hoping to have my review for this up by the end of the week.

The Mostly Invisible Boy by AJ Vanderhorst; I had to read this in a rush after realising that I had signed up for a blog tour and then somehow forgotten all about it. This is a super cute middle grade book that I mostly enjoyed. I’ll be sharing my thoughts on Wednesday!

Tremendous Things by Susin Nielsen; I am taking part in the blog tour for this one on the 22nd so ill for sure be picking this one up very soon!

The Crown of Gilded Bones by Jennifer L. Armentrout; I will definitely be getting to this one as soon as I have finished A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire! I am really getting into this series now and wish I had a bit more time to binge read it.

The Invisible Tightrope by Robert Haywood; This book sounds so interesting and I am really looking forward to reading it for the blog tour on the 28th. I haven’t received the book yet but hopefully it will come in plenty of time for me to read it.

Blood Like Magic by Liselle Sambury; I’ll be reading this one definitely by the end of the month as it is an early July tour which I am super excited to be taking part in!

That’s it for today, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading my post! Feel free to drop a comment or a like and let me know if you’ve read any of these books, share your thoughts!

  1. Enjoy your reading!
I really want to read The Maidens soon!
I’m currently listening to Lost in the Never Woods, I’m actually a bit disappointed by it.. Since I loved Cemetery Boys, I had high expectations, but so far it is not meeting those..

    1. I am enjoying it a lot more now that I am into the second book and I am a bit annoyed I have so many others to get through so I cant focus on it the way that I want to 😂🙈
