Good morning bookworms and welcome to another WWW Wednesday post!
WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words.
For those who don’t know, the three W’s are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you finish reading recently?
What do you think you’ll read next?
It’s been an interesting week to say the least but I have managed to enjoy a few books this week and am really excited about the ones I have lined up!
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling; Current progress 60%
The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon; I decided to start May with this beast so that I could guarantee that another month would not pass with me not picking it up. I am finding that I am getting on a lot better with the physical copy than I did with the Audiobook and it is making a lot more sense to me and I am actually really enjoying what I have read so far. I am up to p. 200 and the world building is fantastic. I can’t wait to finally finish it!
A Heart So Fierce and Broken by Brigid Kemmerer; I am one of the few people who actually enjoyed this more than the first book. I really enjoyed Grey’s character and so a lot more of him in this book was great for me!
A Vow So Bold and Deadly by Brigid Kemmerer; I was happy overall with the way this series ended. I definitely had a few issues with this book but to be honest I had issues with the entire series. I did find it enjoyable for the most part though.
I am planning on writing and uploading my reviews for both of these books by the end of the week so keep your eyes peeled for those!
House of Hollow by Krystal Sutherland; This one appeared on my radar a little over a month ago after getting a sample from Netgalley and I have wanted to read it ever since. I bought it last week and am going to make it my next read. I feel like I am going to want something short after finishing The Priory!
The Five by Hallie Rubenhold; This None-fiction is completely out of my comfort zone and I have absolutely no idea what to expect. I am reading this as part of TWR gang monthly book club and am really excited to get started!
The Light Fantastic by Terry Pratchett; My copy has just arrived at the library and I am looking forward to reading this this month and seeing what the second Discworld instalment has in store. I think myself and my buddy Lynn are expecting it to be much better than The Colour of Magic!
