|| Tag Tuesdays || Easter Time Book Tag ||
Hello everyone and welcome to another Tag Tuesday! Although the Easter break is technically over I really wanted to do this fun Easter tag that I saw a few people doing over the weekend so here it is! I hope you enjoy reading my answers and that you all had an awesome break and ate lots of chocolate! Who can beat guilt free chocolate?!
I saw this tag over @thestrawberrypost and if you are not already following this lovely blog then I suggest you go ahead and do that now!
Easter Egg – Name a book that feels like a hidden gem!
I recently read Silver Dawn Afire for a blog tour and it really was a breath of fresh air for the fantasy genre. I didn’t see many people talking about it and I really think it should be getting more love! You can click the cover to go to my full review and learn a bit more about the book if you find yourself intrigued
Bloom – A debut novel you loved!
I was absolutely blown away by this debut. I mean I have no issues whatsoever with saying that this is the best series of books that I have ever had the pleasure of reading. I devoured the entire series in a week and it left me desperate for me. I can’t wait to see what comes next from Kuang! You can read my full review by clicking the cover.
Chocolate Bunny – A book so good you didn’t want it to end!
I really want to say The Poppy War again but in the interest of keeping the tag interesting I will instead go with Harry Potter! I still so desperately want more from this series even though the ending was very satisfying I just want to stay in this world forever and ever!
Cheep, Cheep! – A book you bought for super cheap!
Cheap is subjective and means different things to different people. I have picked up a lot of bargain books in my time but a wonderful one that immediately springs to mind is Mother Loves Me. I bought that on Amazon for £2 and it was an incredible, thrilling read! You can read my full review for this book by clicking on the cover!
Jelly Bean – A book you thought was just so sweet!
This is easy! The House in the Cerulean Sea was the sweetest book I have ever read in my life. It was like being hugged all the way through. I genuinely don’t think I stopped smiling while I was reading it. You can read my full review by clicking on the cover!
Church – A book that changed your life!
I don’t think that one book alone has ever changed my life but I do like to believe that collectively books in general have changed and enhanced my life in a lot of ways. I have connected with so many amazing people because of them. I have read stories that have taught me lessons, made me laugh and cry and have transported me to hundreds of different worlds and that is life changing isn’t it?
Easter Basket – A book filled with so many surprises!
A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder was a recent read that was full of surprises for me! I usually find myself easily guessing the murder in these types of books but this was so much fun and I genuinely have no idea who it was. It threw so many curveballs, it was a bit of a rollercoaster! You can read my full review by clicking on the cover!
This was such a fun tag to do, I wish I had gotten to chance to do it over the Easter weekend but better late than never right? That ought to be my motto. With it being late I am not going to tag anyone but if you do fancy giving this a go then just tag the original creator Theresa @ The Calico Books as well as me (if you’d like me to see your answers) and if you liked my answers then feel free to leave me a comment!
