Good morning bookworms and welcome to another WWW Wednesday post!

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

For those who don’t know, the three W’s are:

  • What are you currently reading?

  • What did you finish reading recently?

  • What do you think you’ll read next?

It’s the first WWW Wednesday of March and so far this week is going far better than last! Let’s hope it stays that way and that I have no more dramatic mishaps!

Once again I’ve managed to finish three books  and a total of 1090 pages which is a little bit less than last week so I feel like I could have done a bit better but I am not too upset by it.

Any purchases made via my Amazon affiliate links will result in me being paid a small commission. This support helps me to pay for my blog running costs and is always appreciated but never expected. You can view my Amazon Influencer page **HERE** to browse all the books that I recommend.

Bobby March Will Live Forever by Alan Parks

I am only just starting this one so I have no idea what I am in for yet. It looks really good though and I am excited to get stuck in. My blog tour date for this is the 11th March!

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling

This weeks progress sees me at 42% so I’ll probably still be listening to this for a while yet!

Once Upon a River by Diane Setterfield

I’m still not sold on this and to be honest and I have hardly listened to it since last week. I’ve made it to about 30% which is 8% further than last week. I’m not too sure why but I can’t seem to get absorbed in the story and overall I am just pretty confused about who the characters are and what is going on.

Hall of Smoke by H.M. Long

I really liked this one! I would definitely recommend to fantasy readers and those who enjoy stories about gods/goddesses. It’s a standalone but with plenty of substance and a wonderful protagonist. You can see my full review here!

A Killer’s Daughter by Jenna Kernan

This was a really interesting psychological crime thriller told from the perspective of the daughter of a serial killer. I loved the story and the characters. It kept me totally gripped! You can see my full review here!

Mother Loves Me by Abby Davies

This one was a fantastic surprise! I had no idea what to expect when I picked it up but I was absolutely blown away. It was gripping, twisted and at times gruesome and horrific. It was a quick read at 290 pages but it was incredible and I am excited to see what else comes from this writer in the future. I have not written my full review yet but it will be up soon!

I’ve been saying that I want to read Isoldesse for a while so I’ll probably go with that next followed by my next blog tour read, The Takers and Keepers which is coming up on the 18th March.

Isoldesse by Kimberly Grymes

This book doesn’t seem to have the best ratings on Goodreads but I think the idea sounds like so much fun. I won’t be going into this one with high expectations so I am hoping to be pleasantly surprised.

    1. I know! I actually only requested it for the cover because it’s so gorgeous and then thought it sounded fun too. I saw all the bad reviews after but I try not to judge too harshly on bad ratings if I can. I’m on with it next so we’ll see and I’ll update! 🙂
